"The Krieger family has 4 children. Their 3rd son, Fritz was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at 10 months old. He is currently 3. Duchenne causes the muscles to deteriorate over time. Boys with Duchenne loose the ability to walk by their teenage years and do not live through the 20s. Currently there is no cure. The Krieger family has taught their community that strength does not come from strong muscles. Strength is so much more. Strength is fighting every day to bring awareness to this terminal disease. Strength is giving Fritz the best life despite his inabilities. Strength is their community walking along side the Kriegers. The Krieger family would enjoy the bike because they have said from the beginning, they refused to let this disease control their life. Their desire is to allow Fritz to be a typical 3 old year with modifications. Fritz’s muscles to do not allow him to pedal on a bike but with this modification, he can still experience the same joy his brothers do when they cruise down the road. Strength is family bike rides!"
