Originally I didn’t see a need for the spell. But as Our bike rides got longer and with so many people out and about during great weather we find that this really helps us to let people know that we are coming through with the big heavy bike! We love it and it works great! Our kids yell out, “ring the bell mama!”

This bell is a must for alerting other bikers and pedestrians of your approach. It is very reasonably priced and complements the style of the Madsen. It is louder than other bells I have had in the past. It installs easily and is easy to use. I would highly recommend.
