Job Description
MADSEN Cycles (www.madsencycles.com) designs, develops and manufactures bicycles with a focus on family cargo bikes. We are looking for a part-time to full-time Shop/Warehouse Operator to be responsible for keeping day-to-day operations flowing and continually improving. 30-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
This position requires a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
Management + Improvement of Shop Operations Management
Assemble/Tune Up Bikes
Package Bikes
Ship Bikes
A Variety of Shop Tasks with Hand Tools
Daily Clean-up of Shop Area
Qualifications
If you are the right person for this position, you will be taking over all shop operations - keeping the shop and warehouse running smoothly, as well as some bicycle assembly, packaging and shipping. At MADSEN Cycles, we have a blue collar work ethic. We work and we love our work - fewer meetings and more action. We need someone capable and organized, ready and willing to learn and execute shop aspects of the business. Madsen Cycles is a small shop with high output. We are a small team of 3-5 people. We need an honest, dependable, hard-working individual who puts great attention to detail, and comes to work on time. Also one who will be working with small shop tools, able to lift 70 lbs., and has good dexterity and clever hands. Pay dependent on work ethic.
